One day Zoonoses Awareness Program

One day Zoonoses Awareness Program was organised Under ICAR project "AINP ON ONE HEALTH APPROACH TO ZOONOTIC DISEASES" in collaboration with Dept. of Animal Husbandry, Government of Maharashtra and Mumbai Veterinary College, Mumbai, MAFSU, Nagpur at Panchayat Samiti, Sudhagad, Pali, District-Raigad on 10.02.2026 in which Hygienic Kits Distributed to 43 Beneficiaries. The dignitary, Dr. Ashok Gadhave, ACH, Khalapur, acted as Chief Guest of the Program. Dr Suyog Mhaskar, LDO, Extension, Pali, and Mrs. Lata Mohite, BDO, Panchayat Samiti, Sudhagad, Pali acted as the Guest of honour and delivered speeches on Awareness of zoonotic diseases.
Dr. Vilas Vaidya, Professor and PI of the project delivered the lecture on prevention and control of zoonoses and importance of personal hygiene while Dr Jagdish Gudewar, Associate Professor and Co-PI delivered lecture on common Zoonotic Diseases and One health concept . Dr. Namrata Kathole, LDO, Yuvraj Surkule, LSS and Miss. Vrushali Kadam, Young Professional-II contributed for organization of this event. The Program was successfully organised under the guidance of Dr Shailesh Ingole, Associate Dean, MVC and Dr. Ravindra Zende, Professor and Head of the Department of Veterinary Public Health and Co-PI.
